$sMINT is the staking certificate token, short for Staked MINT, that users receive after staking $MINT tokens through a Staking Node in the MintPool protocol. It represents the user's staked $MINT and entitles them to staking rewards.

Stake rewards refer to the profits users earn by staking $MINT and holding $sMINT. Specifically, holders of $sMINT receive a fixed APR of 15% in $MINT tokens as mining rewards, provided by MintDAO.

Users can check their $sMINT balance and accumulated $MINT rewards by connecting their wallet to the MintPool interface or a related dashboard. For precise instructions, refer to Mint Blockchain’s official documentation or community updates.

Staking Rewards: You can claim your Stake rewards at any time

Restaking Rewards: Restake rewards are available for withdrawal after a 24-hour period. You can claim the previous day’s ETH profits starting the next day.

To achieve higher returns, users can participate in Restaking by converting their $sMINT into BC721 Mint-eNFT. This unlocks a second layer of rewards: 50% of the Mint Blockchain sequencer’s net ETH profits (after deducting DA fees and Superchain fees), which can exceed the 15% APR from staking alone.
